ShorTul uses Cloudflare KV as a first-level cache at the edge. When a shortcode exists in KV, the Worker returns a 301 redirect immediately — no database query needed. The first request for a new code populates KV, and a daily cron job preloads all active links every morning.
No! Guest links work without signup. They expire after 24 hours by default. Create a free account for persistent links and analytics.
ShorTul stores no personal data. Visitor IPs are hashed for uniqueness counting only. All redirects use HTTPS. Supabase service keys never touch the browser.
Yes. Choose any 3-32 character URL-safe alias. Reserved routes like /admin and /login are protected from use.
Expired links return a clean 404 page with a link to our Telegram. The KV record is automatically removed.
